In November of 1994, Dr. Stoetzel opened Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic on Peter’s Creek Parkway. This was after being a Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic practicing in New York State at a very busy Practice as an Associate Doctor. This experience help give Dr. Stoetzel plenty of experience to start his own practice. He built his practice mainly from his patient’s referring friends and family in for Chiropractic Care. Stoetzel, and his entire team. The Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic opened its doors in November of 1994, on Peter’s Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. In May 2011, the clinic moved to a medical suite in the Brookview Hills Medical Center off Hanes Mall Blvd. Patients enjoy the calming, friendly atmosphere, and upgraded technology we offer at our chiropractic office. Our Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, Dr. John Stoetzel, D.C., D.A.C.N.B., F.A.B.V.R., C.F.M.C., is a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate, leads the Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic with over 26 years of experience and he is also Board Certified in Neurology from the American Chiropractic Board of Neurology. He has studied extensively in the treatment of Neurological conditions through Brain based treatments. This is done after making the proper diagnosis through a thorough Neurological Examination of his patient. He continues post-Doctorate Neurology education, currently working towards certification in treatment of Traumatic Brain Injuries. Our goals is getting patients back to optimal health, feeling and performing their best. Dr. Stoetzel is currently the only Board Certified Functional Neurologist in the Winston Salem, Greensboro, and High Point areas. Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation helping people that having dizziness, imbalance and vertigo symptoms and problems. Dr. Stoetzel has advanced training in the Rehabilitation of these types of Vestibular System conditions, and utilizes diagnostic equipment at our Clinic to properly diagnosis and monitor these conditions. I am Certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine and have advanced testing equipment available onsite. Tests such as Nerve Conduction (NCV) and needle EMG for evaluation of muscle weakness, muscle wasting, numbness, tingling and shooting pain like Sciatica. This is the gold standard in Medicine to localize where and why these signs and symptoms exist. With proper diagnosis, the most appropriate and effective treatment can then be made to alleviate the pain, weakness or abnormal sensation. I am also a Certified Functional Medicine Clinician, seeing patients with issues ranging from autoimmune, gastrointestinal, diabetes, and dysglycemia. I also have training in the effective treatment of HPA axis, chronic fatigue and pain syndromes, cardiovascular/neurovascular disorders, and optimal health maintenance.
